This scholarship was developed in memory of Nyra Shaw. She loved Tuskegee University and she showed it with her school spirit. Any chance she got she encouraged other young students to check out an HBCU of their choice and become HBCU educated. She lived life to the fullest and with each year her family watched her mature with confidence and knowledge. LIfe was a journey and she knew her dreams was within her reach. Unfortunately life was cut short suddenly during her Junior year and she left behind amazing memories with family, friends that will be cherished and shared with people from all over by giving other young adults the opportunity to have the HBCU experience with a scholarship!
